BRODIX story of success began in 1965, when Francis Dix (the last name formed the “Dix” in BRODIX) started the production of all types of aluminum castings. Some years later, racing enthusiast J.V.Brotherton (the “Bro” in the company name) married Francis’ daughter Paula and put a spin on family business, suggesting to add cylinder heads to their product range that eventually led to appearing of an aluminum Hemi head in 1971. The next year, Mopar reintroduced BRODIX heads and provided them to racers; and there is where the story began. In 1996 BRODIX presented an aluminum small block Chevy engine block that soon became the standard by which all other blocks were measured. In 7 years, a big block Chevy version was produced. Nowadays BRODIX collection ranges from the innovative IK 200 heads to all out raised port small block heads.

For the last decade, BRODIX was involved in producing Spec heads, which are made to an exact specification for various racing associations. The idea of a Spec head is to hold in check development and costs of heads for selected classes of racing. In addition to above mentioned, the company’s product line includes High Velocity intake manifolds for both big and small block Chevy engines, which are famous for their performance. Miscellaneous dampers and temperature gauge adapters, valve covers, spark plugs, intake spacer plates & gaskets and other various parts and accessories can be found in the BRODIX list of products as well.
