How do I determine which kit I need to level my vehicle?
The ride height of each vehicle varies due to the condition and trim model of the vehicle. The most optimal way to determine which kit you require to level your truck is to park your vehicle on a level ground and take a tape-measure to measure the distance from the ground to the top center of the fender arch. Take the measurements for both the rear and front and then subtract the two numbers. This is about the amount you will need in order to perfectly level your vehicle.
Can I use this kit on top of another suspension lift kit?
Suspension lift kits are designed and tested to work with factory suspension components ONLY and should never be used on any vehicles with a suspension lift kit already installed. However, suspension lift kits can be used in conjunction with a body lift.
Why am I lifting my truck higher in the front?
The reason why offer full kits higher in the front is to get rid of some of your factory rake. Because your rear is higher than the front from the factory, by raising your truck an uneven amount, will make it look more level and look much better.
Will I have to get new shocks with your leveling kit?
New shocks are not required on most of front suspension leveling kits.
Will the kit affect the ride-quality of my truck?
Ride quality will not be affected if the lift kit was installed correctly and on the correct application.
Will installing kit affect my factory warranty?
Most of lift kits do not affect your factory warranty because there are no permanent modifications to your vehicle. Dealerships in certain regions have their own policies when it comes to vehicle modifications covered under factory warranty. Always recommend that you check with your local dealership about whether adding kit will void your warranty.
How do bolt-on lift kits work?
The spacer included will lift your truck the advertised amount by extending your spring. This allows you to maintain your factory spring rate and allows for a precision amount of lift at a great price. Specially designed this kit for flush fitment and to compliment the looks of your truck. The bolts of the kit are pressed in and are also completely flush with the spacer as well.
Why is the spacer in the kit that I received not the same thickness as the lift that I ordered?
The lift amount and the spacer thickness will NOT be the same, in order to lift your vehicle the advertised height, it is necessary that the spacer is less than the lift amount. The suspension (lower control arm) compounds the amount of lift due to both its length and angle and that is the reason why the spacer needs to smaller than the lift amount.
Are the spacers coated?
Yes, the spacers are Teflon coated and will never lose its finish. Anodized aluminum kits will change color over time. Painted or powder coated steel chips and takes out chunks of the finish. However, Teflon resists all of the elements plus gives you a hard coating that is scratch resistant and will last forever.
Do I need longer shocks for this kit?
Longer shocks are normally not required when installing a leveling kit. However, recommend you replace your shocks every 50,000 miles. If you haven't replaced your shocks recently, please consider replacing the shocks during the installation of your leveling kit as your shocks will then be easily accessible.
How difficult is the installation. How long does install usually take? Can I install the kit myself?
Installation is not difficult since most of lift kits do not require any special tools such as a spring compressor. Most of kits are "bolt-on" applications and installation can be completed by almost anyone with some experience working on suspensions. Average installation time should take 1-3 hours depending on experience of the installer. How do I adjust my truck from 1"-3"?
Your factory adjuster bolt will allow you to personalize your front lift in order to put your truck up an exact amount. Kit will give you about 2" of lift after installation, using the adjuster bolt, every full turn in either direction will increase or decrease your right height 1/8".
Can I use this kit on top of another suspension lift kit?
A suspensions lift should never be stacked with another suspensions lift. Suspension leveling kits are designed to install directly to your factory suspension, NOT to be stacked with another lift kit. On the contrary, up to a 3" BODY lift kit (using body spacers to lift the body of the vehicle from the chassis) can be used in addition to a leveling kit as long a professional can make to necessary adjustments for such things as steering columns, brake lines, shocks, etc.
