The Kia Stinger is a standout in the automaker's model lineup. Introduced for 2018, the Stinger diversified Kia's range of family vehicles with an aggressively-styled high-performance 5-door liftback option. It has proved itself to be a legitimate sports sedan that charges less for driving thrills than German luxury-performance cars. Two years since its debut, the Stinger packs the same punch, and its base version gained a meaner look. The 2020 model comes in fewer trim levels, with two lowest 2.0L and Premium trims replaced by a single entry-level model called the GT-Line. The rest of the versions remain, including the GT, GT1, GT2, and GTS. The new base trim has been restyled with more aggressive body parts borrowed from the V6-powered Stinger GT and sports a different grille design, wheels, front and rear bumpers, and accessories. The right 2020 Kia Stinger accessories and parts that the aftermarket abounds with will help make an even stronger visual statement.
The new GT-Line is the only model with a 2.0-liter turbo 4-cylinder under the hood. With its 255 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque, this unit does a good job propelling the Stinger at quite a fast pace, but thrill seekers will be better off with a 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6. It is good for 365 horsepower and 376 lb-ft and offers the thrust, power delivery, acceleration, and howl that a legit sports sedan engine should have. Driving purists will be disappointed by the absence of a stick, as the only transmission choice is an 8-speed automatic. Regardless of the trim level and engine, the Stinger offers brilliant handling and shines when both taking corners and going in a straight line. The adaptive suspension is good at smoothing out road irregularities and provides quite a pleasant ride. If you prioritize performance over ride comfort, there's a wide selection of 2020 Kia Stinger parts on our digital shelves for you to make an upgrade.
The Kia Stinger hides a large hatch under its sloping fastback, which means there's no shortage of cargo space. There are 23.3 cubic feet for cargo with all seats up and more than 40 cubes with the second-row seats folded, which puts the Stinger into crossover territory in terms of cargo room. Built on the same platform as the Genesis G70, the Stinger has luxury roots and its interior looks the part. Even the least expensive model comes with leather upholstery, and stylish accessories like exposed speaker grilles complete the handsome look.
Want to make your 2020 Kia Stinger one of a kind, keep it running at its peak, or turn it into a high-powered beast? Our vast selection of premium accessories and parts ticks all the boxes.
