The Infiniti Q50 now offers segment-leading 300 horsepower even in its base configuration. What’s more, this year’s model has a revised infotainment system that is now Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible. On top of all that, the brand’s entry-level luxury sport sedan got an all-new Edition 30 Trim that features a number of redesigned parts and unique accessories. All those changes made the Q50 certainly more appealing than ever before. But there is always room for improvement. Owners who want to improve their car’s look while at the same time demonstrating their sense of style to everyone around can reach the goal by upgrading it with 2020 Infiniti Q50 accessories and parts from aftermarket manufacturers.
First things first, the entry-level model of the sedan is now a new 3.0t Pure version. That means there is no longer any need to move to the Luxe trim level to get a 300 HP 3.0-liter twin-turbo engine. The previously standard 2.0-liter turbo mill was dropped. The 3.0-liter in question is also found in the Red Sport model. In that version, it’s tuned to generate 400 HP. A seven-speed automatic transmission is standard across the entire lineup. With such a capable powertrain, the vehicle is touted to go from zero to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds. The Q50 is rear-wheel-drive by default with all-wheel drive as an option. On the outside, the car is unmistakably an Infiniti with its bold grille yet smooth curves and creases. All Q50 models run on sporty 17-inch wheels, safe for Sport, Red Sport, and Edition 30 versions that sit on 19-inch ones.
The Edition 30 trim marks the 30th anniversary of the automaker. It is touted to be priced between Sport and Luxe trim levels and bring a bunch of equipment along with some styling tweaks. From a visual standpoint, the newbie is nothing short of handsome. Compared to the regular model, it features a sportier front and rear fascia. The specially-designed badge on the trunk and a unique set of wheels round out the list of exterior enhancements. Once inside the cabin, you will notice special aluminum trim and leather seats. But what makes it really special is its long list of available features. To wit, it comes standard with both ProAssist and Essential Packages. The first suite brings a variety of safety features, while the latter one offers many creature comforts.
Be that as it may, one of the biggest things about the Q50 is still its Dynamic Digital Suspension. It allows the driver to modify damper settings for more aggressive handling on twisty roads. On the downside, the mentioned suspension comes standard on only 3.0t Sport and Red Sport 400 models. If anything, whatever the version, owners often upgrade its suspension system with 2020 Infiniti Q50 parts and accessories from the aftermarket. Many of them lower their car to give it more aggressive looks while at the same time improving handling. Interior-wise, the vehicle returns virtually unchanged, save for the above-mentioned updated infotainment system. The interior is full of premium quality materials and well-equipped with the latest technologies to provide Infiniti-like comfort and luxury. The list of standard features varies depending on the trim level. However, even the base model comes standard with a host of up-to-date tech.
