First time ordering from this site. The alternator was exactly how the description depicts it and was a perfect fit

At 92.673 Miles / 149.144 Km the Original Alternator for my 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee (3.7 Ltrs, V6 Engine) was dying out so after a couple of days of research found this alternator, the alternator is very good quality and exact same fit for the V6 Engine, if you are looking for an alternator this would do the trick, it came with a power curve sheet (in very bad shape but legible). Be careful with the one you pick because some can be super similar in pictures but the bolt thread size is different, luckily CARiD has the specs up to date and correct! so re-check twice if you are comparing with other sites or vendors. I would definitely buy another alternator from Remy and from CARiD.

This is the second Bosch remanufactured alt I've bought. High quality and put us back on the road. Will definitely continue buying Bosch Alternators.

My starter went bad and needed a replacement. I read some Jeep forums and was getting mixed reviews of if there was a difference between starters for a manual or automatic transmission for the 2002, which made the process more difficult. If you are in the same boat, this starter worked great for my manual. The new replacement was easy to install and the Jeep started right up.

This battery replaced the original Motorcraft battery in my 2018 F150. That battery got to where it wouldn't hold a charge more than a day and believe it or not, the lights were getting dimmer on the truck (didn't realize this until after replacing the battery). I got this XS battery since it had all-around better performance ratings than the Motorcraft battery. I do have quite a bit of aftermarket electronics and wanted the best to power them. The battery came quickly and well packaged. I put it on my optimate 7 charger for the initial charge up and let it maintain the mattery for a few days until I could get it into the truck. For Ford users, you do need to get the log post/terminals separately so you can hook your battery terminals up. The install went easy and was a perfect fit. I have had it in the truck for a week and have been pleased with it. The weather has been cold and the cold morning starts have been spot on. The lights on the truck are brighter as well. I got this battery through CARiD, due to them having the best price for the battery. Overall, the ordering experience was great and I did not experience any problems.

This alternator is a powerhouse! Around 160 Idle, and 280 max! Fit my 2011 Silverado perfectly. Just had to get a 1/2 inch shorter belt, don't forget the 250 amp fuse or circuit breaker, and 1/0 alternator to battery wire upgrade. Also, upgrade the negative wire to alternator housing too.

I try to do this work on my car myself having a good battery cable is a must for disconnect to do most repairs. Not good with having a corroded one. Also, check all wiring for loosening. Drive Safety!

I have owned now two of these Alternators (Black Wrinkle) for my previous Jeep and now my current Jeep, which is a 2010 Wrangler Unlimited Sport. I wanted to upgrade the Alternator because of my SKAR Audio Sound System I am currently putting in. I tried installing the same Sound System in my last Jeep without upgrading the Alternator, but due to the Sound System putting out so much Watts and pulling a lot of power, it killed my battery at the time. I highly recommend this Alternator due to the fact that it performs great, looks great and you can add more electrical accessories without having to worry about killing your battery.

It works exactly as expected on my ae92 sr5. The previous alternator had a bad voltage regulator and this new one fixed all the issues. I usually prefer to buy OEM parts from the dealership but since it was for a personal vehicle I figured it was worth the risk. And it was. 5/5.

This is a great fit, goes in pretty easy if you follow the YouTube video. Very clean and works great, I would recommend this for Jeeps that have a lot of extra accessories hooked up to their stock battery.

First of all, this alternator is not a direct replacement for a factory ACDelco alternator. The belt length is about one inch longer. I was told that I could put a 10-rib pulley on it and it would still be compatible. Not so. To begin with, you need a longer belt, especially if you have a 10-rib setup. In my setup for a 2012 Camaro SS, the belt sizes in that range are very scarce. I ended up using a Gates 120964HD cut down to 10-rib. But then I found out that the pulley did not align with the other pulleys and I could not push the pulley any further onto the shaft. So to get the pulley in line with the others, I had to grind the back of the mounting lugs to get the pulley closer to the engine (LS3). This took about 4 iterations and it is still not exactly right. Given all the mounting problems, this is still a very good, well built and rugged alternator. Just be prepared to spend a lot of time getting it to fit.

I was looking for a battery tray, that if the bump out section was on the bottom, would be on the left. As this picture shows (rotate it 90 degrees clockwise). However, this photo is of the underneath of the battery tray. Which means the bump out is actually on the right hand side. Why isn't it a photo of the top? Who decided that it made sense to take a picture of the BOTTOM of an item? Who knows? This will work if your car has a battery tray mounted on the driver side. If yours is on the passenger side, it's useless, because you won't have mounting holes for it. I still give it a point or so for looking like decent quality build. But CARiD really failed on the photo.
